New 2022 BMW M2 CS Specs
The New 2022 BMW M2 CS will get a variety of three- and 4-cylinder petrol engines. However, the M2 will have something more powerful. It will likely be powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that is compatible with the BMW M240i and M340i, as well as the BMW Z4 M40i. The exact power outputs of the new M2 won’t be known until much closer to launch. However, the M2 will undoubtedly have more horsepower than the BMW M240i’s 374hp. The new M2 could come standard with rear-wheel drive, but it may also be available with the same xDrive four-wheel-drive system as M240i.
Interior
This compact sports car seems to have different hardware from its more powerful sibling, especially the infotainment screens. Standard 2 Series models have an 8.8-inch center stack and a 5.1-inch display in front of the driver. However, the M2 has different hardware. The prototype has a larger wraparound screen that mirrors the brand’s electric i4/iX models. It remains to be seen if this prototype makes it into the production model.

The price of the 2022 BMW M2 CS will be close to £50,000. This is because the car will only be available in Competition specifications in the UK. Other European markets will have the option to purchase a standard model car. The production of the new BMW M2 will begin towards the end of next year. This means that the first owners of the vehicle will receive it in early 2023.
